Babcock-Hitachi K.K. has history of almost 100 years in Japan since B & W (Babcock & Wilcox) of UK established it in 1908 as a boiler parts supplier. The company name was changed to Toyo Babcock in 1928 and then to Babcock-Hitachi K.K. in 1953 as a joint venture of Hitachi Ltd. and B & W. It is now operating as a center firm of Hitachi Group since Hitachi acquired total stock of the company in 1987.
In its long history, Babcock-Hitachi K.K. has been producing cutting-edge products and services in the fields of energy and environmental preservation. Our goals are to offer useful means for achieving “effective use of energy”, “environmental preservation” and “recycling of resources” - major contemporary social problems being closely correlated with each other.
