Wide Variety of Models
- Our HRSGs support from regular gas turbines (combustion gas temperature of 1300°C) up to the latest 1500°C gas turbines.
- Single pressure, multipressure and reheat triple pressure type steam cycles are supported.
- HRSG with supplementary firing equipment (Duct Burner) is also supplied.
- Horizontal natural circulation and vertical (natural circulation and forced circulation) HRSGs are prepared to allow customers choosing the one best suited to the plant conditions.
- Our HRSGs are usable for the base load operation as well as DSS (Daily Start-Stop) operation.

Compact Size
The high performance twisted type serrated fin tube, which has been developed by Babcock-Hitachi, has higher heat transmission performance than usual solid fin tubes. This effect enables to perform the weight minimization and compact if cation of HRSGs. (The gas side heat transfer performance of the twisted type serrated fine tube is increased approximately by 20% over the solid fin tube.)
Shorter Installation Period Realized by Modular Construction
- Our facilities can provide large sized modules up to 5000tons for shipping in optimizing with transportation to site and field erection work, which enables to transfer one axis HRSG in one to three modules. This approach can substantially reduce the time required for the installation work in the field.
- When a regulation is set on the size of a module to be transferred or on local transferring-in routes, we can divide a single HRSG unit into small or medium size blocks each weighing approximately 50-170 tons where casings and pipings are incorporated together with each module blocks (so called C-Section Module). This approach can significantly reduce site erection period.
High Quality of Manufacturing Technology
- Our reactor pressure vessel technology and supercritical pressure technology along with the ISO9001-certified design, manufacturing and inspection technologies assure the top quality by worldfs standards.
- Fin tubes are produced at our highly controlled plant. All finished fins are subject to radiographic inspection (image X-ray) to ensure reliability of HRSG to be delivered.
Dynamic Characteristics Analysis and Simulation Technology
The combined cycle power generation plant requires, as one of its features, quick startup as well as quick response to load change. Our HRSG, being manufactured based on the proven dynamic characteristic simulation technology, can follow the quick plant startup and load change with a sufficient margin.
Low-emission Technology
Since gas turbines use natural gas or light oil as fuel, their exhaust gas is cleaner than that from conventional thermal power generation facility. Moreover, Selective Catalystic Reactor(SCR) for reduction of nitrogen-oxide(DENOx) developed by our technology also ensures its lower-than-ever emission and balanced operation.
