As you are aware a major earthquake and tsunami struck northern Japan on Friday, March 11,2011.
We'd like to take this opportunity to update you on the status of our catalyst manufacturing facility.
Our manufacturing facility(Akitsu facility) is in Higashihirosima-shi, Japan,
located at southwestern area of Japan, has not been impacted by the earthquake or
tsunami and therefore, there is no impact to our delivery commitment for the supply of
catalyst. All material and equipment utilized in catalyst manufacturing is sourced globally
through Hitachi's network of qualified suppliers. The facility continues to manufacture
catalyst everyday to serve the customers need.
